Perhaps it was that big helping of karma Monicka sent over the Web, or maybe it was the ripple effect of The Artist’s Way, but I finished my quilt.
I tee-totally freaking forgot it was Thanksgiving in the US today. Talk about being out of the loop. As for my “Artist’s Way” journey for week one, it’s been stop and go. I did my morning pages for two mornings. Morning pages are three pages that you’re supposed to write as soon as you [...]

I’m having a creativity crisis. It’s more than a creative block. A block is a wall, something that is merely in front of you. If you step back and gather enough speed, you can probably break through or jump over it. Nah. This is a crisis that’s surrounding me.
Funny. It just dawned on [...]

Ingredients
170 g Palmöl (palm oil)
85 g Kokonussöl (coconut oil)
28 g Traubekernöl (grapeseed oil)
143 g KOH (potassium hydroxide- premixed 40%w/w liquid solution)

If you remember from our last episode of Afrodesia does France, I was making my way through the world of natural perfumery. Even though I’ve been sort of quiet on that front, I’ve been busy.
I’ve spent the 4-day Easter weekend with my nose stuck in my various perfumery books and breaking out the bottles. [...]
