Not that I needed anyone to tell me, but there are some sneaky-a$$ folks in politics. But being sneaky is one thing. Being just clueless about protecting yourself is another. There’s a new site for Hillary Clinton aimed at the youth market: Hillary Speaks for Me. Here’s a screenshot:

Now, the site says that it’s not affiliated with the Clinton campaign: Here’s a screenshot of that:

I got curious about the site so I did some searching to see who registered the domain name. Here’s the screenshot of the result:

When I saw the name, I said “Wait a second.” Here’s a screenshot from the official CLINTON blog:

And here’s the link to Reshma’s post on the official blog here.
If you’re going to launch sites as such, and you’re working for a campaign, at least don’t do it under your name.
P.S. I absolutely hate putting folks on full blast like this, but it’s sneaky ish as such that pi$$e$ the electorate off….or at least me.

Kudos, Detective Tramble. Ku-dos.
Frankly this is the kind of thing I expect from Clinton so I’m not really shocked. But I agree someone else should have registered the site. Dang. Maybe one of the alleged 5 friends referenced in the opening could have registered it. LOL
@Paco-> The trip thing is that it didn’t take much to find out.
@AnaisKarim-> I guess what trips me out about the whole thing is that it seems Clinton is getting desperate (sp?), which is a turn off.
Rashunda, I found this so interesting I linked it to my blog. You are right, it comes off as desperate and, to me, more than a little tacky.
Hmmm, you know, this needs to be submitted to Sk*rt and Digg. They would eat it up.
