On a totally different topic: Saw “The Golden Compass” last night. If I could close my eyes, sit in the middle of a room and have Sirs Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi to my left and right, Lauren Bacall in front, Cree Summer at my back and Patrick Stewart orbiting around me…and have them read off something even as mundane as a McDonald’s menu…I’d be in heaven.
