Black Panther: The Revolutionary Art of Emory Douglas
I peeped this at Orell Fuessli a couple of weeks ago, but I fo damned sho wasn’t going to pay CHF84.00 and *then* have to wait two weeks for it. Douglas was the official (perhaps, not sure) artist of the Black Panther Party. If you remember the BPP flyers from back in the day, you remember his work. This book is a collection of his drawings from the 60s and 70s.

But, with folks out there like Paco with his Kung Fu Grip zine, I’m glad I didn’t dare. His artwork is superb and his poetry ain’t too shabby either. I’ve already placed my order.
