It got my wacom Volito up and running again after Ubuntu update broke it once more. For any newbies who are following it to the absolute letter, note that this is now (very slightly) out of date and the library path for most of us is now .../2.6.17-11-generic/... rather than .../2.6.17-10-generic... so this part should be replaced in the above pathways.
