My dream home

I don’t know who I’ll have to rob…

I don’t know who I’ll have to promise something involving my toes and a jar of mayonnaise…

But I will own this farm on the Vierwaldstattersee near Weggis before I die.

I’d thought about going to the Gemeindehaus, looking up the owner and making a deal. I’d be in freaking debt for the rest of my life.

Debt, schmedt.

Whoever owns it is probably waiting on someone to offer millions, rip the farmhouse down and build a gaudy, hot pink monstrosity (sp).

If I had it, I’d bring it up to code, keep the original design, rent out a few rooms, plant flowers and veggies, write in the loft overlooking the lake, read Rumi, make soap and incense, become a herbalist, grow my hair out again (maybe even return to locks), make a fire next to the shoreline, splash in the water, watch cats mouse, have a wood-paneled reading room lined with all of my books….

Damn. I’m dreaming again.:-)

It’s beautiful! I would see how it would be easy to dream there. I think I would get a lot done creatively there. :)

What’s the worst that could happen if you shared your dream with the owner and made them an offer?
