9-year-old loses his freaking mind.

Audio of kid losing his damned mind. Link has been fixed!

I found this via edrants.com. To set the stage, apparently the kid is playing a video tournament online. His conversation, and I use that term loosely, with his mom can be heard through his headset.

Someone hit the record button.

The first portion is a little garbled but stick it out. The interesting part is towards the end (2:00)when the child just goes off the chain. Around 3:00 is when your mouth will probably fly open.

Now, I’m hoping and praying that this is fake. I have a feeling it’s not because I know folks who will allow their children to basically curse them out and not raise their voice, much less a hand.

“Oh Tommy is just expressing himself!”:-)

Anyway.

I also must thank Ed for the link to his interview with OCTAVIA BUTLER. 41 minutes of listening to a genius. I was in heaven. I especially loved the fact that she was interviewed in what sounds like a cafe. It was just like I was there.

If you’re an aspiring writer, pay close attention to what she says about setting rules in science fiction stories. Heh, made me go back and check some of my work.

Maybe both of the above, and more than anything his mother needs to throw the xbox into the fire and let the little monster watch it melt.

Then she needs to take away all electronics, including TV until he learns how to show some respect.

But ya know something? The kid learned that behavior from somewhere or someone. I wonder what the relationship is like between the mother and the father?

You don’t wonder, you already know. I can tell you right now, there is not a real fatherly presence in that house.

Can’t decide which concerns me more - the kid’s cursing tirade, or the accuracy with which he (as a 9 yr old) was playing that game - scary.
