OMG sis — EUROPE is expensive…I found that out firsthand as well! I hope your Solstice was blessed!
While Zuerich and Geneva are on number one in terms of “quality of city life”, they are only on number six or seven in terms of cost. That’s not a bad ranking. That comparison is not AS favorable for Vancouver (rank 3 on both lists) or Copenhagen (rank 8 on both lists), whereas Tokyo, London, Moscow, Seoul or Hong Kong are far further down than rank 10 in terms of quality of city life. And then, quality of life is relative, but so is costliness.
The only surprise on there is not seeing New York or Los Angeles in the top ten. The others are pretty obvious.
Boston isn’t in the top 10? Good because I’m planning to move back there from Memphis after the divorce is final.
Tim (yes that Tim)
I am surprised Boston is not in the 10.
Housing and car insurance really took a bite out of my salary.Because it is a college town apt. rentals are scarce and i would say priced much like Zurich and Bern.
