My new find: Valencia Bey.
Okay, so maybe things happen for a reason. I found Valencia Bey’s site after her husband made me a Flickr contact. I surfed to her site, clicked “Brown Girl” and immediately did my Halle-Berry-winning-the-Oscar-ugly-face impression.
2.5.05: Just to clarify, the “Halle-Berry-winning-the-Oscar-ugly-face impression” comment is a positive thing. It means having a good cry after finding (or winning) something wonderful.

It’s a good thing. I tried to fight back tears and was unsuccessful.:-) I needed that cry!

I just had Valencia come and play for our group and it was ‘Kingdom expanding’ in the words of our pastor….she is truly a blessing to all things musical.
