Who is this actor?

Help me out here. There was an actor in the 70’s that was featured in a lot of black exploitations movies (I think). I also think he did an episode of “Good Times”. He had a gap and his name was something like “Thassulus Rasula”.

Does anyone know who I’m talking about?

Pulled out my handy-dandy copy of Blacks in American Films and Television by Donald Bogle. The actor’s name was Thalmus Rasulala.
